Puppy Suffering From Leg Injury After an Accident

In Dharamshala the Shiva Association team came across a young puppy lying weak and motionless on the ground, his front paws showing clear signs of injury after what appeared to be a road accident. He lay still, too exhausted and hurt to move, his body worn down from both the impact and the pain that followed. The team found him lying flat, unmoving, with visible wounds on both front paws, a sign of how forceful the accident had been. Recognizing how fragile and weak he was, they lifted him carefully onto a clean surface at the clinic, treating him with the extra gentleness a young puppy in this condition needed. He remained still through it all, watching quietly, too tired to resist as the team began cleaning his wounds and checking for any deeper damage. The injuries were treated carefully, dirt and debris cleaned away to prevent infection, and medicine was given to manage his pain and support healing. Being so young, his body needed extra support, so he was kept warm, monitored closely, and given the rest his little frame desperately needed. The team stayed close, watching for any signs of improvement or complications over the following hours.
