HankPets founder Mr. Sunil Kumar Rana joined SHIVA Community Development & Voluntary Association on 6th July 2022 as part of its governing body to support the organisation’s mission of helping animals in need.

Why We Joined SHIVA NGO

Around the world, countless animals suffer from neglect and abuse. With a little love, care and attention, these same animals can rediscover their devotion to people. SHIVA, based in Himachal Pradesh, rescues and protects pets and street animals such as cats and dogs, providing them with food, shelter and medical care. The organisation also champions environmental laws and positive social change at both local and national levels.

HankPets, a popular online pet store, has partnered with SHIVA NGO to donate funds and volunteer time to improve pet care and grooming. Our aim is to contribute as a collective effort to transform lives and communities. We believe every pet deserves proper grooming, love and affection.

Our team regularly helps with moving abandoned pets to adoptive homes, welcoming them until their new family arrives, cleaning and maintenance in shelters, spreading awareness on social networks, and even helping to organise events.
