Dr. Vijay’s intern informed to Shiva Foundation about an injured Hawk on July 2023 at Sudhaid near by Dharamshala bus stand. The volunteers reached there within half an hour and snatched the hawk with the help of Net. The hawk was not able to fly properly because of a fractured left side wing. Volunteers take him to the vet hospital in Dharamshala (Himachal Pradesh). Because the condition of the hawk was critical. The left side wing was almost fractured. When the hawk was reached at the hospital, the doctor examined the hawk and said that the bone marrow of the left side wing was almost over. So the doctor operated the wing for the betterment of the hawk.
After the operation shiva foundation hand over the hawk to the forest department cum zoo for better care of the hawk.
